The following major credit cards are accepted at the Miura Hotel. VISA, Euro Card/ MasterCard. Cash payment is possible only in Czech crowns (CZK), Euros (EUR) and Dollars (USD)

Cigar Lounge

Bar is located in the basement of the hotel reception. Open from 10 p.m. Come and have a glass of champagne, cognac or cigar with Warhol.

Check-in/ Check – out policy

Check-in time is 3 p.m. Check-out time is 11 a.m. Please inform the reception desk if you wish to extend your stay. All extended check-outs are based on availability.

Help with luggage is available at reception desk. 

Children

There is a children´s playing room in the hotel. On your request we will fit your needs to prepare a special menu for children. Extra heating, stool etc. is available after previous request.

Golf

Prosper Golf Resort hosting the tournament of the PGA European Tour. The resort consists of two 18-hole master courses incorporated into the charming landscape of the Beskydy mountains designed by Miguel Angeles Jimenez. Island hole number 15 on the Old Course was announced hole of 2010. Since 2011, in the role of head Pro operates Brett Braiser. In winter the course can be used for cross country skiing.

Golf Course Ostravice is built among the peaks of the Beskydy mountains. It is a master golf course, par 72 parkland, designed by architect Chris Johnson. The course is suitable for beginners but it will appeal especially to more ambitious player who can test their skills here. Located 8 km from Čeladná.

Ropice – 18-hole course located 40 km from the hotel

Šilheřovice – The master golf course is in the charming setting of the chateau park dominated by Rotschild´s chateau and beautiful ancient trees. It is 18-hole course located 49 km from the hotel

Heating rooms

Temperature control is operated by the hotel reception. In case of your need feel free to contact reception desk ext. 9.

Horses

Stable is focused on recreational riding in western style. Currently in the stable horses of these breeds: Quarter Horse, Paint Horse, Appallosa, Welshpart bred, Czech warmblood, Hafling and Friesian Horse. If you are interested in riding please contact reception desk ext. 9.

Housekeeping 

If you don’t wish to be disturbed in your room, put pink magnet “Do not disturb” on the door. For cleaning of your room, use a magnet in white “Please Make up room”. If you need a cleaning service at a certain time, contact reception desk ext. 9. The room can be made up until 4 p.m.

If you find any technical malfunction on your room or functionless device, contact reception desk ext. 9.

The room is cleaned every day. For daily towel exchange, please contact the front desk.

Bed sheets are regularly changed twice a week. For an extra exchange, please contact the front desk.

Ironing services are provided by hotel housekeeping. Your items will be returned within one hour. For additional cleaning (chemical cleaning), please contact the front desk.

You can borrow an iron with a board upon request.

Extra pillow or blanket is available to provide upon request.

Free wi-fi is available in all hotel areas.

Keys

On the day of arrival guests will get a card. To switch all electrical equipment insert the card into the card transmitter. During your stay we suggest that you keep your room key with you at all times. Should you lose your key, please be aware that there is a charge of 200 CZK. If you need an additional key the reception desk will assist you. Keys will only be issued to registered guests.

Laundry and dry cleaning

We can wash and press anything given to us before 9 a.m. and it will be delivered back in 24 hours. Laundry/ Valet bags and forms are available in the bedroom closet. Just put your items in the bag, fill out the sheet and call the reception desk for pick up. If you need an express service, please call the reception desk.

Lobby Bar

Bar is open 24 hours a day. We offer wine, coffee and non-alcoholic drinks.

Medical Assistance and Pharmacy

If you need some assistance from a professional please call the reception desk on ext. 9 for a visit by the Doctor.

Minibar

Amount for consumed items will be added to your hotel´s account.

If hotel staff finds irregularities in the minibar after the departure of the guest, is entitled to send an additional invoice for the consumption of undeclared items.

You can rent or store your golf equipment (4 Callaway sets), bicycles (4ever), ski, cross country ski (in winter period). It is not permitted to take your golf equipment to your room. Storage room is for free and is guarded by camera system.

Security

When you arrive, please take a few moments to familiarize yourself with emergency evacuation procedures and the security. In each room you will find the exits designation placed just next to the door of your room. Our Staff is trained in these extraordinary situations. Each room is equipped with fire alarm.

The Art of Gastronomy …

Miura Restaurant is open daily. In summer there is a terrace overlooking the golf course. Miura Restaurant offers both A la Carte Menu and 7 and 5-course degustation menu. After consulting with the chef we are able to create a special menu "tailored" in accordance to your requirements.

Chef Michael Göth has been among the top Czech gastronomy for years.  He dominated the culinary scene in Brno, where he worked at the renowned restaurant Kastelán. Michal comes to Miura Hotel with the intention to raise the Beskydy regional cuisine, which inspired the new A la Carte menu.  Michal´s priority is the use of premium ingredients from local Beskydy farmers.

Attractions 

TIMBER CHAPEL of St Cyril and St Methodius - ČELADNÁ

At the upper end of Čeladná by the "Cyrilka" spring is the small wooden chapel of St Cyril and St Methodius.

Distance: 3 km

CHURCH OF ST JOHN OF NEPOMUK IN ČELADNÁ

The church dates from 1784 and here you will find an iron cross made in 1834. The Roman Catholic Church of St John of Nepomuk in Čeladná was blessed by Dean Ignác Uhlíř in 1759.

Distance: 500 m

PUSTEVNY

The mountain seat Pustevny (1018 m), named after the hermits who used to live here and the last of whom died in 1874, is a notable tourist centre. It is dominated by wooden structures built in the folk style by the leading Slovak architect Dušan Jurkovič.

Radhošť is the most well-known mountain in the Beskydy protected area. It is 1129 metres high and provides wonderful views of the entire Beskydy, Valašsko, Jeseníky - Praděd, Malá and Velká Fatra. Radhošť is traditionally associated with worship of the pagan god of hospitality, fertility and abundance, Radegast.

You can travel to Pustevny in a chairlift which gives you a bird's eye view of the countryside. The starting station is in Trojanovice.

LYSÁ HORA

Lysá hora is a cult site and the highest peak in the Beskydy Mountains at 1323 metres above sea level. From Lysá hora there is an unforgettable view of the ridges and valleys of the Beskydy Mountains, the Jeseníky Mountains, and as far as the Western and High Tatras. When there is good visibility you can see as far as the White Carpathians, the Malá Fatra Mountains in Slovakia, Jeseníky and Králický Sněžník. When there are absolutely ideal conditions (only a few times a year) to the north-west over the Jeseníky Mountains you can even see Sněžka, 200 km away.

The unique Friends of Lysá hora Club has existed as part of the Czech Tourists' Club since 1981. Its members who are called "Lysaři" count the number of ascents they have made. It is a sport, a pastime and a passion. They have a green dragon on their symbol, after Petr Bezruč who was known as the Old Dragon. Badges are given depending on the number of ascents you have made; the most valuable, for two thousand ascents, is the platinum badge.

Ivančena (925 m n. m.) - a stone mound in the Beskydy mountains between Malchor and Kykulka below the summit of Lysá hora. The mound is now a symbol of patriotism, bravery and friendship. It continues to grow in size and consists of stones from various corners of the world. Among them there is even a small stone from the Moon given by the astronaut Neil Armstrong.

ŠTRAMBERK CASTLE

Štramberk Castle - the ruins of a castle whose origins are unknown. One of the theories is that the castle was built by the Order of the Knights Templar, another is the legend of how the local inhabitants were miraculously protected from the Tatars on Kotouč mountain in 1241.

Trúba, as the tower is locally known, has become the symbol of this massive castle, beautiful town and picturesque region.

ROŽNOV POD RADHOŠTĚM - OPEN-AIR MUSEUM

The largest and oldest open-air museum in central Europe. Around a hundred typical Wallachian buildings can now be seen here. The largest grounds and also the longest viewing circuit is the Wallachian village. The project was started in the middle of the twentieth century as a way of preserving the wooden buildings of the folk architecture in the Wallachia region which were rapidly disappearing.

The most important thing that is currently going on at the museum is the concerted effort to bring back to life the long-forgotten traditional techniques, folk art and customs, as well as reconstructing how our ancestors socialised, did business and enjoyed themselves. Another area of activities is folk craft and folk artists who, as well as selling their products, show off their skills to the numerous visitors to the museum. In this way Rožnov Museum is fulfilling the legacy of its founder, Bohumír Jaroněk who wanted it to be a living museum.

HUKVALDY CASTLE

Hukvaldy Castle, one of the largest Czech castles, has an important place in the history of Moravia. Throughout its history it was never conquered and it was not until 1762 that a fire destroyed it. It has now been partially restored. There is a summer amphitheatre with excellent acoustics where the international Leoš Janáček Music Festival is regularly held. It was here that Janáček was inspired to write his opera "The Cunning Little Vixen". This is commemorated by a statue of the Cunning Little Vixen in Hukvaldy game park. You can also visit the house that Leoš Janáček was born in where there is now a museum to this genius.

TATRA KOPŘIVNICE TECHNICAL MUSEUM

The most extensive collection devoted to the Kopřivnická vozovka, which later found fame as the phenomenal TATRA car factory. The museum currently has four different exhibits: The Tatra Technical Museum, the Lašské (Lachian) Museum, the Fojtství (Reeve's House) Museum and the Emil and Dana Zátopek exhibit (in the Technical Museum).

STODOLNÍ STREET - Ostrava

There are only a few streets that make their way into people's subconsciousness. Stodolní Street in the Moravian town of Ostrava is undoubtedly one of them. Its fame is no longer restricted to just Ostrava but goes beyond the region and it is no exaggeration to say that it is known practically throughout the country and even beyond its borders.

You can find more than 60 bars and clubs on Stodolní Street and the adjacent streets which can be easily reached by public transport and train. Stodolní Street and its surrounding area has become a renowned entertainment centre attracting tens of thousands of people every weekend.

LANDEK OSTRAVA

The largest mining museum in the Czech Republic with the broadest range of supplementary services offers its visitors a day- long trip among outdoor monuments.
